A Designer with Dimension.
About Me
I’m a Montana native, originally from Billings, and I’ve been lucky to build my career in graphic design while staying here in the state I love. I graduated from Montana State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts, focusing on Graphic Design.
Since then, I’ve spent over 20 years working in the industry, collaborating with a wide range of businesses and designing across all kinds of mediums, from digital to print and everything in between. That experience has shaped how I approach design today, with a focus on creating work that’s thoughtful, effective, and built to last.
I currently live in Bozeman, where I enjoy getting outside whenever I can, hiking, camping, and taking my two dogs out for walks. When I’m not working, I’m usually catching up on a good show or playing the occasional video game.
Work History
I’ve spent my career building a strong foundation in design by working across a variety of roles, industries, and mediums, each one adding a new layer to how I approach my work today.
I got my start while still in school as an intern at Ink Outside the Box (2006–2016). During that time, I gained hands-on experience beyond traditional design, learning sign production, trade show layout, vinyl production and installation, and vehicle graphics. It was an incredibly practical environment that taught me how design translates into real-world applications.
I then moved on to Concept Design Studios (2016–2023), where I expanded my focus into branding and digital work. I worked closely with clients to develop logos, websites, and marketing materials, while also creating apparel and promotional products for tradeshows and campaigns. This role strengthened both my creative skills and my ability to collaborate directly with businesses to meet their goals.
Currently, I work at WealthVest (2023–Present), where I’ve continued to grow in new areas of design. My work focuses on layout design for whitepapers, sales tools, quarterly reports, and social media, supporting the marketing of retirement investment products. I’ve also expanded into video and audio production, creating podcasts, training videos, promotional content, and social media shorts.
Looking back, having just three roles over 20 years speaks to my commitment and work ethic. I value being part of a team, contributing to long-term growth, and consistently raising the quality of the work we put out.

A.I.
It’s hard to ignore how quickly A.I. has become part of the design landscape. While it’s still evolving, I’ve taken the time to understand how it can support and enhance my work in a practical way.
I use tools like ChatGPT and Adobe Firefly to help generate ideas, write prompts, and explore visual directions. Within Photoshop, I also use A.I. tools to edit, expand, and refine images so they better fit the needs of a layout or concept.
Beyond design, I’ve found A.I. useful for more technical tasks as well, like organizing data into spreadsheets, transcribing non-editable documents, and working with image-based content, while being mindful of confidentiality.
I see A.I. as a tool, not a replacement. Like any tool, its value comes from how it’s used. Staying current with new technology is part of being a designer, and this is just another way I continue to evolve and improve the quality of my work.
